FAQ’s

What types of problems are addressed?

Basic house manners such as: sit, down, stay, come, not jumping up, chewing on appropriate items, housetraining, countersurfing, etc…

Out in the real world: loose leash walking, polite greetings, learning to relax at the groomer or veterinarian, preparing for a group training class, etc…

Why should I hire a dog trainer?

The typical family is very busy between work, school and day to day activities. We can help you integrate training into your routine and make it successful. Training is an investment, but the payoff is worth it, and less expensive than replacing furniture and household items on a continual basis!

How long will it take to train my dog?

Well, that depends on many things. Simple cues, such as a sit or a down, are typically introduced easily. But your dog being familiar with a cue and fluent with it is very different. Just like us, learning is an on-going, lifetime process.

Do you guarantee results?

No, it is unethical to guarantee specific outcomes, as there are many factors involved with a dog’s behavior, as well as the owner’s behavior. However, we are fully committed to helping you achieve the best relationship possible with your dog.
